Weaverville woman wanted on embezzlement charges, found dead | WLOS
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — Police confirm a Weaverville woman wanted on nine felony warrants related to the embezzlement of over $200,000 has been found dead.
Thursday, police put out the call for help finding Penelope Ann Frisby after she failed to turn herself in. Frisby was wanted for the embezzlement of $236,628.26 from Davis and Whitlock, P.C.
Early Friday morning, police confirmed Frisby has been found dead of an apparent suicide. No other information is available at this time.
